I ordered another casual outfit from Fabletics’ May collection. The Embu outfit includes the Cupola Tank and Clarissa Skirt. Both are made from the same lightweight jersey material.
I ordered this tank in Monarch, a pretty orange that will be great for summer, in size small. (Note that size small is sold out in this color.) It’s fitted but not tight, leaning a little towards a relaxed fit. It has no built-in bra, which I like because I prefer wearing my own bras. The strappy style of the back totally makes this tank. This is another tank that I’ll be able to dress up or down. And because it’s comfortable, lightweight, and cute, it’s definitely a keeper.
I ordered this skirt in Heather Grey in a size medium. It’s very roomy with a relaxed fit. In fact, the waist was very big on me when I wore it up around my waist, but it fits much better when I wear it on my hips. It has a pleated wrap detail on the front that I worried would be too revealing, but it’s not. Maybe it’s because I got a roomy size.
I liked this skirt so much when I first tried it on that I committed the ultimate activewear sin and didn’t check out my behind before I tore the tags off. While it’s not sheer, the fabric is very thin and clings to my butt in all the wrong places. It makes panty lines, lumps, and bumps very visible. I’d say you either need to wear a thong or go commando in this skirt. The only way I’d be able to wear this in public is with tights underneath or short compressive shorts to act like spanx. Having said that, this skirt is extremely comfortable and lightweight, so I can see lounging in it a lot this summer.
Did you order anything from Fabletics this month?
