I haven’t done activewear reviews in forever because I haven’t been buying activewear. I think the last thing I bought was a Lulu winter running jacket on sale, which I’ve worn most of the winter minus our summer-in-winter days. But as spring approaches and my motivation to train returns, I wanted to freshen my wardrobe a bit. I loved the new spring colors in the March Fabletics collection and couldn’t resist the Albury outfit featuring a pretty spring green in a capri, bra, and tank.
Fabletics’ Salar Capri and Tights have become some of my favorites in my wardrobe. The knit fabric is soft, the fit is comfortable and slimming, and there’s a hidden pocket in the waistband. They’ve held up well to washings. When I work out at home, I usually wear my Salar Capris. Green is my favorite color after purple, and I don’t have a pair of capris in anything close to this color green. Sold! These fit and feel just like other Salars (I got my regular size medium).
Amna Sports Bra
This is a new bra in the Fabletics line and much more supportive than their seamless bras that I tend to get to just wear around the house. I think the Amna will be good for cardio but maybe not for running. It’s comfortable and has mesh in the back. I bought my regular size medium.
The piece I was most excited to try was this mesh tank, which I thought would be good for summer running. The tank is loose fitting in size medium on me. It’s very lightweight, and the mesh is so soft! I really love the fabric. Unfortunately, there are two things I don’t love. One is the back mesh strap. It’s a very heavy and stiff mesh. Worse is the seams at the straps. I’d say they’re definitely a chafe-maker, but the top fits so loosely that I’m not sure they’d rub enough on skin to chafe. However, I won’t be going on any very long runs until August, so I think this tank will be good for shorter summer runs.
I decided to keep all three pieces, though I probably won’t be wearing them together because I don’t like to look matchy-matchy.
Have you bought anything from Fabletics recently? If you’d like to try Fabletics, I’d appreciate if you use my referral link. If you do, you’ll get two leggings for $24 and I’ll get $20. Win, win! They’re having a huge sale right now too, including this long winter coat for just $35. I bought this coat in fall and have worn it all winter. It’s lightweight but very warm.
